Du Xing is a character in the classic Chinese novel “Water Margin,” also known as “Outlaws of the Marsh.” He is a member of the outlaw band led by the protagonist Song Jiang and is known for his martial arts skills and fierce loyalty.

Du Xing’s character is introduced in Chapter 22 of the novel, where he is described as a skilled martial artist who is feared by his opponents. He is portrayed as a quiet and reserved person who does not speak much but is fiercely loyal to his friends.

Du Xing’s loyalty is demonstrated throughout the novel, as he is willing to risk his own life to protect his friends and fellow outlaws. In Chapter 31, for example, he volunteers to fight against the powerful official Cai Jing, despite knowing that he is no match for him, in order to buy time for his friends to escape.

In addition to his martial arts skills, Du Xing is also known for his cunning and resourcefulness. He is often called upon by Song Jiang and the other outlaws to help them with their various schemes and heists, and he is always able to come up with a plan to get them out of trouble.
