去 乡 之 感, 犹 有 迟 迟。
矧 伊 代 谢, 触 物 皆 非。
哀 哀 箕 子, 云 胡 能 夷!
狡 童 之 歌, 凄 矣 其 悲。

Qu xiang zhi gan, you you chi chi.
Shen yi dai xie, chu wu jie fei.
Ai ai ji zi, yun hu neng yi !
Jiao tong zhi ge, qi yi qi bei.

 

Chapter No. 2

Leaving hometown, feeling just like being torn apart.
Also at this time, a new emperor  stirs up everything to make different.          Ji Zi with such deep grief and sorrow,  can his heart ever be calm again!
He wrote songs about this bad boy emperor,  that were chilled and melancholy.

 

Notes:

Ji Zi:  Semi-legendary sage during the eleventh century BC.  Gave advice to the first king of the Zhou Dynasty, King Wu.
