The Preparatory Courses, also known as the University Foundation Year, is kind of pre-study education. It mainly focuses on learning language and some basic courses to suit the life of studying in China, usually lasting for six months or a year. The Chinese proficiency level of foreign students applying for a degree course at a Chinese university need to reach HSK Level 4 or above.
