Traveling Between Qiongzhou and Danzhou, While Sitting in the Carriage Got These Sentences While Dreaming: “One Thousand Mountains Move Fish and Turtles. Ten Thousand Valleys Sing With Flutes and Bells.” Awoke to Clear Wind and Heavy Rain Drama, Stop to Compose These Lines

Surrounding this island and it’s four cities
One hundred mountain caves coiled in the center.
Traveling to the northwest corner, following a crescent-shaped moon
Climb up high to gaze into the distance to find the Central Plains.

All I see is piles of water and sky
During this life, will I be able to return to the calm.
Turn to the west, I really will meet my end here
Scanning the huge and vast ocean.

Like Tan Tianweng, sit and chant about the sky and it’s constellations
Boundless and vast the country’s granaries.
Who cares about one tiny grain of rice
Secluded mind-heart suddenly awakes, dreams scatter.

From afar, windy natural sounds through the caves
“One Thousand Mountains Move Fish andTurtles.
Ten Thousand Valleys Sing With Flutes and Bells.”
Glad to know sounds from a group of immortals.

Who are having a heavenly banquet not yet finished
Maybe they will help me to return home.
Raise a cup of wine, a toast with the servant boy
This sudden rain is not without meaning.

A group of dragons hastens me to write poems
Clouds suddenly change colors.
Laughing thunder also alters it’s mood
Strange this old Dongpo looks so old, but his words are young and fresh.
Long time these brilliant and wondrous sounds
Penglai Palace can never hear them.
