When one of his friends, the warrior Gongsun Sheng, was captured by the enemy, Li Zhong risked his life to rescue him. He infiltrated the enemy camp disguised as a Taoist priest, and was able to successfully free Gongsun Sheng and bring him back to Liangshan.
Despite his many achievements, Li Zhong was also known for his hot temper and tendency to act impulsively. This often got him into trouble, and he was frequently scolded by his fellow outlaws for his reckless behavior.
Overall, Li Zhong was a beloved and respected member of the Liangshan heroes, and his bravery and martial skill made him an important asset to the group. Though he had his flaws, he was ultimately a loyal friend and a fierce warrior who fought tirelessly for the people of China.
